Today in NYC History: Sorta Taking the Week Off

The recovery from my ACL injury is entering a challenging phrase, as I ramp up early rehab efforts. Between the time spend on PT and the erratic sleep schedule caused by the increased discomfort, I’ve barely had time to write, and as you may have noticed, 100% of that writing time has been going to Today in NYC History, to the detriment of other projects. Next week is relatively light on cool things that happened, so perhaps a fitting time to take a break. Please follow the site on Twitter and Facebook, where I will be posting some information about stuff that happened today in NYC history, just so you know!  Today, for example, is the tragic shooting of Patrick Dorismond, a low point in the late Giuliani administration.
