Janos.nyc will regularly review fiction and non-fiction books about New York City. While the site will emphasize recently released works, anything from the past decade is fair game, particularly if it went under the radar. A note on style: Reviews at Janos.nyc might be longer than typical. This is by design. Often book reviews leave you salivating for the real thing, but most often, that wish goes unfulfilled.  We get it, people are busy, and while reading 3000 words on a topic ain’t the same as reading 250-page masterpiece, it’s better than nothing
