On Thursday, February 5, 2014, Janos.nyc held its official Launch Party!
Even though this site has featured material for over a month, I feel that only now is it hitting its stride, and I wanted all of the people who have supported this project to get together and celebrate.
Special thanks to the Kurland Group for hosting, to Susty Party for providing sustainable cups, and to the many friends and family members co-sponsored the event.
Plenty of family and friends rolled by.
Congrats to Team Brezler-Marton, who won our four-way trivia battle, defeating Rage Against the Vaccine, Corruption Crusaders and Between Boroughs. With the game on the line, my patriotic cousins were the only ones able to name the Hungarian-American athlete who led New York City to a major sports title. (The answer: Joe Namath.)
